Condos can be more secure. So if safety is a factor in your housing decision, then you’ll be happy to know that condos often have security features such as buzzers or a guard service.

Also think about this: Having this added security makes it a lot easier to leave for a vacation or be gone for an extended time.

Stop Shoveling Snow and Start Enjoying Your Free Time
Since condos are generally low maintenance, you can forget lawn mowing, weeding, shoveling snow, painting the exterior, etc. Condo living means someone else takes care of the plumbing problems or roof maintenance.

And they’re affordable too!
While condominiums in Toronto have a wide price range, the lower range is often within the budget of first-time buyers and singles who may find single-family housing in Toronto out of their price range.

If You Want Amenities, You’ll Want a Condo
Because most condo developments offer a range of amenities in the common areas such as a pool, fitness center, tennis courts and more, you can access these amenities that you might otherwise not be able to afford with a single family home in Toronto.

Have a Dispute With a Neighbour? Let the Association Handle It
Every unit owner is a member of the condo association, which also has an elected board. The association serves to enforce by-laws, handle maintenance and repair issues and deal with disputes with developers or between neighbours.
